Alan Ray

2000 Membership started with 46, gained 4, lost 5, ended year with 45. Theme for the year "Create Awareness - Take Action" This year's President is Alan Ray.

Rotarian, Past President & Paul Harris Fellow, Alfred Matthews passed on to greater service, Alf served our Club & Rotary for 34 years & 1 month. Alf kept the most fastidious manual records of the Club statistics, his Rotary service was from September 1966 until October 2000.

Rotarian, Past President & Paul Harris Fellow, Peter McCree served our club & Rotary for 31 years & 7 months from November 1968-June 2000.

Two members of the Community were given holidays via the Kilmunn society.

Cheque for £650 donated to Sanderson Special needs school.

President Alan Ray presented Past President and Paul Harris Fellow Edwin Robertson with The Rotary 4 Avenues of Service” Citation.

Raising cash for Rotary Foundation is becoming an integral part of our Clubs activities, as in previous years Rotarian Edwin Robertson and his understanding wife Rina have put on another Open garden day and each year we have been able to increase our giving to Foundation.

As a result of the Clubs increased giving to Rotary Foundation we were given a banner by the RI President as a memento of our achievement.
